Alton D. Morrison 

VP of Cybersecurity Business Development

Mr. Alton Morrison assumed duties as VP of Cybersecurity Business Development on 4 May 2020. Mr. Morrison previously served as the Senior Technical Advisor for Cyberspace Operations and Electronic Warfare in the Capability Development and Integration Directorate (CDID) at the Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) and Fort Gordon. In this position he was the primary consultant for the integration of Capability Development for Cyber and Electronic Warfare Capability for Cyber and Operational Forces. Mr. Morrison also served as the Deputy TRADOC Capability Manager for Cyber and was responsible for developing requirement documents that support Defensive and Offensive Cyberspace Operations, Cyberspace Situational Understanding, and the Persistent Cyberspace Training Environment.

Mr. Morrison also previously served as Deputy Chief, TRADOC Capability Manager (TCM) for the Global Network Enterprise (TCM GNE). TCM GNE is the Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate and Army Capabilities Integration Center (ARCIC) lead for Enterprise Capability Developments efforts that operationalize actions in and thru the DODIN at tactical and strategic levels.

Colonel Morrison retired from the Army on 1 April 2004, after 30 years of active military service.   He culminated his service as the Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations (DCSOPS) for the 335th Theater Signal Command during Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), and Operation Iraq Freedom (OIF). Prior to being selected to serve as the CoS and DCSOPS, Colonel Morrison served as the Third U.S. Army G-6 where he served as senior advisor and consultant to the 3rd Army/CFLCC Commander for all voice, record traffic, and data communications for the Commander and his battle staff. Colonel Morrison served on the Joint staff as the Command Centers Division Chief, where he was responsible for all C4I services for the CJCS in support of the National Military Command Center (NMCC).

Mr. Morrison is a graduate of the Army War College. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix; a Master of Science Degree in Human Resources Management and Development from Chapman University; a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Southern University and was commissioned in the United States Army Signal Corps.

Mr. Morrison’s awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Achievement and Commendation Medals, Army Meritorious Service, Commendation and Achievement Medals, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Army Service Medal and the Joint Staff Service Badge and Certificate.
