Job Description:

The position will perform Subcontracts Management functions in support of ICP’s Training Division. Individual will be responsible for managing multiple major subcontracts under the Director of Training.

Individual will be responsible for generating subcontractor proposals and evaluation, supporting program financial objectives, supporting statement of work preparation, negotiation of subcontracts, and subcontract administration.

Individual will be the liaison for all subcontracts and subcontractor related issues, both internally and externally.

Individual will provide routine status reporting to program management while managing routine daily interface with supplier and management via processing of invoices.

This position will also serve part-time as a Technical Writer. Individual will be responsible for creating technical training that meets instructional objections and is written to a level appropriate to the target audience.

Individual will work with subject matter experts to create course content and coordinate with a team of instructional designers, graphic artists, programmers, and documentation specialists to create both paper- and computer-based training products.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of subcontracts management or related experience.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of our standard Project Management Methodology. These activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions. Participation on projects is focused on smoothing the transition of projects from development staff to production staff by performing operations activities within the project life-cycle.

Quality Assurance Manager

Description:

The Quality Assurance Manager (QA) reviews and directs the final revision of all training materials and documentation before delivery to the client.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform final review of training materials and documentation, including paper-based instructor guides and students manuals, storyboards, web-based training, videos, job aids, PowerPoint presentations, analysis plans, training design and development plans, and any other materials or documents prepared for clients to ensure that the materials meet the highest standards for:
• Grammar, usage, style, flow, tone and appropriateness for audience.
• Accuracy of content.
• Instructional soundness.
• Client satisfaction.
• Ensure training products comply with applicable guidance and regulations (SCORM, Section 508, style guides, etc.).

ICP has an immediate opening for a graphic artist in our Newport News, VA office. The graphic artist is responsible for creating line drawings, shaded drawings, and photographs. Works with instructional designers and technical writers to create page layouts and product designs. Uses a variety of software tools to create and refine vector and other graphic elements. The graphic artist prepares charts, posters, slides, covers, and other graphics using PC-based graphics software such as Illustrator, Arts and Letters, PageMaker, Ventura, or CorelDraw. Experience with 3D graphics creation is preferred. Portfolio is required.

Education: Associates degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Arts or related discipline or 2 years’ experience
